Been on a Harry/Ron kick lately...Here is a great author I found while browsing through the Harry Potter/Ron Weasly fqf. Check it out. They have a lot of wonderfully written stuff! Also,nolagal has some amazing artwork that she uses as userpics.

"This Jealousy, Look What It's Done" (Harry/Ron) bynolagal 
 Summary: Ron notices Harry spend too much time with George, but he’s not jealous because that would just be ridiculous.

"Overconfident" (Harry/Hugo) bynolagal 
  Summary: Hugo likes being underestimated and uses it to his advantage especially when it comes to seducing his uncle.

Found the best artist EVER! I love it when that happens. I think I've actually seen her before but it's been a long time. Check outcorkart. Actually, her community died, so just go see cork .

This last fic is probably the best one I've read in a REALLY long time. It's Harry/Ron of course. by shocolate at IJ (her lj is f-locked)

It's called "Pickled Egg" and it's got quite a few amusing parts.
Oh yea...and did I mention that cork made fanart for it? 5 of them. And they're embedded in the story. The only thing better than a really good fic is a really good fic with amazing art to accompany it. I'm in heaven.

Oh man. "A Tiny Little FullBlown Obsession" by dirty-darella at ff.net is my new favorite fic. No really.

First off, it's Harry/Draco which, if well written, can be soooo hot. Then, Hermione's got this cheeky attitude. Pair that with Ron's confused jealousy because he has absolutely NO idea what's going on and who to believe...Just read it...or REread it. Don't think anyone's had the time yet (cuz it's new) but...DAMN! The name "dirty-darella" suits this author. It WAS dirty....Well, not as dirty as some of the fics I've read....There was a shower involved... Just sayin'.

Need some artwork for this. 'Cause....wow. Mental images need to be cemented into my skull more permanently.

If I haven't convinced you to read this yet, there's something seriously wrong with you. Just try it.

Since I have no life, I decided to do that flickr mosaic thing. This is what you do:

Oh man. I just found this AWESOME youtube video of a Harry Potter spoof. It's called Harry Potter in the Hood is the Half Blood Prince of Bel-Air. I laughed until I cried...I still chuckle every time I think of the ending and Hagrid's face. Anyone who reads this HAS TO SEE IT! It's HILARIOUS!

I've seen a few other of this person's (or people's) videos and they're so funny. They're great writers. Apparently they hire actors to act out their little spoofs.

Poor Heath Ledger. I'm so sad he's dead. He had so many great movies. I'll forever be sad when I watch "10 Things I Hate About You" now. I think I may have a Heath Ledger movie marathon in honor of him. I'll watch my favorite movies of him and all the ones I haven't seen. Like that Candy movie. I dont know what it's about, it looked kinda wierd to me, but I'll watch it for him. Poor guy. His poor daughter. I saw a picture of them carting him away in a stretcher (with him all covered up of course), and all these camera lights flashing in the background. How terrible. No respect. Sorry I just needed to rant a little about him. He's all I've been thinking about recently. I heard there were protesters at his funeral or something. Saying he was going to hell because he portrayed a gay cowboy in one of his movies. One of those church groups you know? No respect. I feel kinda sorry for them. Poor guys don't realize THEY'RE the ones going to hell- if anyone does.

Woah...I've been going through all the quizzes I've taken...not all of them are here. I'm a hippie! Damnit! Everyone always tells me I'm a hippie and I always yell at them for profiling me...oh...oops. Umm I suppose I might be a hippy then. What classifies someone as a hippie tho? I dont smoke or do drugs or anything. I'm just very concerned about the environment. And RIGHTFULLY so. It's not like I'm technoligically defficient. I just have ideas and opinions that I share with those who are willing to listen. *sigh* Fine. I can friggin be a hippie I dont care. I like my style of clothes and homemade jewelery and I'm not going to change. Hippies are cool. I've actually thought about becoming a vegetarian but I dont have the courage or discipline for it. I think petitioning for humane treatment of animals is a better route also

Hey..this is my first time actually writing in my LJ account, and not using it for nefarious purposes. One thing about me is that I LOVE reading Harry Potter fanfiction. Most of my friends here on LJ are people who write that stuff. I am SERIOUSLY hooked on it.
It's cuz I'm one of those sick people who stay home all day and have nothing to do...That's why I got drawn into this wonderfully horrible cult. I love it though...I think it keeps me from doing something drastic...like killing myself. Thank god for obsessive fans who arent satisfied with the books ;).
